- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. pecans
Directions

1For shortbreads, preheat oven to 350°.

2Generously butter a 9-inch square baking dish.

3Cream butter and sugar in processor until light and fluffy.

4Add flour and process until blended; do not form a ball.

5Pat into bottom of prepared dish.

6Bake until shortbread is light brown, about 25 minutes.
