Maple Sugar Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) can solid-pack pumpkin
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 unbaked pie shell (9-inch)
  • whipped cream (optional)

Directions

    In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except last 2.

    Pour into the pie shell.

    Bake at 425° for 15 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 350° and continue baking for 45 minutes or until knife inserted near the center comes out clean.

    Cool to room temperature. Refrigerate.

    Garnish with whipped cream, if desired.
