- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled
- 3 teaspoons maple syrup (NOT pancake syrup)
- 1 cup walnuts, finely chopped
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
Directions

1In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs and sugar together.

2Add cooled butter, maple syrup and walnuts.

3In another bowl, sift flour and baking powder and add to egg mixture. Batter will be stiff enough to be dropped by spoon onto the grids.

4Drop one heaping teaspoon of batter on preheated pizzelle iron grid. Close iron and bake according to manufacturer's directions approximately 30-40 seconds depending on your preference for browning, or the consistency of the batter.
