- 8 eggs
- 2 tablespoons chinese black tea
- 2 star anise
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 teaspoons salt
- 4 cups boiling water
Directions

1Boil eggs for 10 minutes.

2Soak eggs in cold water until cold.

3Crack egg shells- Do Not Shell; set aside while preparing sauce.

4Pour boiling water into Chinese black tea; let stand for 5 minutes.

5Pour tea into a saucepan (straining out tea leaves); add soy sauce, star aniseeds and salt to tea;add eggs and boil in mixture for 20 minutes.

6Remove shells.

7Serve cold.
