Marinated Carrots

  • 1 large pkg. carrots
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 medium bell pepper
  • 3/4 c. salad oil
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 3/4 c. white vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. sugar

Directions

    Scrape and slice carrots (medium size slices, not too thin). Boil carrots until tender; drain.

    Slice onion into thin slices; cut bell pepper into strips.

    Mix onion, pepper and all other ingredients (except carrots) together.

    Pour this mixture into pot with drained carrots; bring to a boil.

    Cool a little and refrigerate.
