- 1 lb. small fresh mushrooms
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove, halved
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. oregano
Directions

1Remove stems from mushrooms.

2Save stems for other use.

3Wipe caps with paper towel.

4Put into jar.

5Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan.

6Heat just to boiling point.

7Pour over mushrooms, cool.

8Cover and refrigerate at least 2 days.

9Shake twice a day.

10When serving, drain and serve with toothpicks.
