Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. cooking oil
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 3/4 c. diced celery
  • 3/4 c. diced bell pepper
  • 3/4 c. sliced green onions
  • 1 (15 oz.) can Shoe Peg corn
  • 1 (15 oz.) can French-style green beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can garden peas
  • 1 jar diced pimento pepper

Directions

    Mix together sugar, vinegar, oil and water.

    Bring to a boil. Cool a few minutes.

    Drain the beans, peas and corn.

    Add celery, onions and bell pepper.

    Toss together to mix.

    Pour vinegar mixture over vegetables.

    Refrigerate overnight and stir occasionally.

    This keeps several days in refrigerator.
