Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- pepper to taste
- 1 c. matzo meal
Directions

1In a medium mixing bowl, beat eggs.

2Add water, oil, salt and pepper; mix well.

3Add matzo meal and stir.

4Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 1 hour.

5This gives the matzo batter a change to thicken.

6Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil.

7Shape batter into small balls and drop into boiling water. Cook, covered, for 20 minutes.

8Do not peek to see how they are boiling.

9Cook longer for softer matzo balls.

10Remove from water and add to chicken soup.
