  • 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. cider vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 6 c. popcorn
  • 3/4 c. Macadamia nut halves (salted)

Directions

    Combine first 5 ingredients and cook slowly over medium heat. Stir gently until mixture boils.

    Continue cooking until mixture reaches hard texture when dropped in cold water (290° candy thermometer).

    Remove from heat; add vanilla and baking soda, stirring well.

    Pour over popcorn and nuts in large bowl.

    Mix thoroughly.
