  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1 (10 oz.) can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 c. chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 c. elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
  • 1 (12 oz.) luncheon meat, cut in 1 x 1 1/2-inch strips
  • 1/4 c. shredded cheese

Directions

    In skillet, melt butter or margarine.

    Saute chopped onions in butter until tender, but not brown.

    Stir in soup, tomatoes, thyme and pepper.

    Add macaroni and meat.

    Add cheese.

    Bake uncovered at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
