- 1 doz. fried meatballs
- 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 Tbsp. oil (reserved from frying meatballs)
- 3 large potatoes, cut coarsely
- 4 carrots, cut coarsely
- 1 onion, cut coarsely
- 1 stalk celery, cut coarsely
Directions

1Blend flour into reserved oil.

2Stir in tomatoes and remaining ingredients (except meatballs).

3Simmer 10 minutes, adding water if necessary.

4Pour over meatballs into crock-pot and cook at least 5 hours.
