- 1 pinch salt
- 14 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon almond extract or 1 teaspoon mint extract
- 12 cup sugar
- 1 cup nuts
- 16 ounces chocolate chips
Directions

1Heat oven to 375 degrees.

2Beat the whites until foamy.

3Add salt and cream of tartar, and beat until stiff.

4Beat in the almond or mint extract, sugar, nuts and chocolate chips.

5If desired, add food coloring as desired.

6Place by teaspoons on parchment paper on a baking sheet.

7Place the sheet in the oven, TURN OFF the oven, and let sit overnight.
