Ingredients

  • 4 Tbl butter
  • 1 medium onion chopped small
  • 2 lb med shrimp(peeled & devained)
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tbl chili powder
  • 2 cup powdered milk(make as directed on box)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 Tbl worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash of garlic powder

Directions

    Melt butter in medium pot on med low heat.

    Mix flour and chili powder in bowl, set aside.
  3. 3
    Add onion and saute till translucent.
  4. 4
    Add flour mix in with onion & butter in pot and cook about 5 -10 min on low to cook flour.

    Add shrimp at this point and stir till just starting to turn pink.

    Slowly add milk into shrimp & flour mixture while stirring, to help against clumps.

    Let cook for 5 minutes more then add ketchup, worcestershire and dash of garlic powder and let simmer 10 more.

    Serve over steamed whit rice.
