  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. buttermilk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. cream-style corn
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/3 c. bacon grease (6 Tbsp.)
  • green chilies (1 small can)

Directions

    Pour 1/2 batter in baking dish.

    Sprinkle with grated cheese and peppers.

    Pour balance of batter on top and again top with grated cheese and peppers.

    Bake in a slow oven (about 375°) for 45 minutes or more.
