- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1 can cream-style corn
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1 (8 oz.) hot salsa
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1In a mixing bowl, combine first six ingredients.

2Combine remaining ingredients; add this to dry ingredients and mix only until moistened.

3Pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish or pan. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes, or until bread is a golden brown and tests done.
