Mexican Cornbread

  • 2 boxes Jiffy cornbread mix
  • 1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
  • 1 lb. browned hamburger meat
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar mild picante sauce
  • 2 c. shredded cheese

Directions

    Mix one cornbread mix according to directions on box and add 1/2 can corn.

    Put in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Layer hamburger, picante sauce, cheese and the other cornbread mix, mixed according to directions, adding the other half of the corn. Bake at 400° until golden brown.

    Serve immediately.
