- 1 (17 oz.) can creamed corn
- 1 1/4 c. self-rising cornmeal
- 1/3 c. cooking oil
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3/4 c. milk
- 8 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
- hot peppers to taste
- 1 lb. sausage or ground beef
Directions

1Brown meat, drain and set aside.

2Mix corn, cornmeal, oil, eggs, onion, milk and 3/4 of the cheese.

3Add meat and peppers. Mix well.

4Pour into a greased baking dish and use leftover cheese to put on top.

5Bake at 375° to 400° for 30 to 40 minutes.

6Can be wrapped in foil and put in freezer.
