  • 2-crust pie crust
  • 1 lb. ground beef or ground deer, drained
  • chili powder to taste
  • garlic to taste
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 can chili beans
  • 1/2 c. Colby Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 pkg. chili seasoning mix
  • tomato juice to desired thickness
  • salt and pepper

    Make your favorite two-crust pie crust and set aside.

    Brown ground beef or ground deer with garlic and other seasoning.

    Put garlic and onion in when you first start the meat to brown.

    After meat is browned and drained add chili beans and tomato juice.

    Cook to boiling.

    Roll out pie crust.

    Put the meat and bean mixture into the shell.

    Put cheeses on top and put other crust on top. Bake at 325° to 350° until crust is brown.
