  • 1 (No. 2) can cream-style corn (2)
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 can green chili peppers (2)
  • 1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

    Mix corn, milk, oil and eggs; add dry ingredients.

    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Pour 1/2 batter.

    Spread half of the peppers and cheese, then repeat process.

    Bake 45 minutes at 400°.
