Ingredients
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 c. cooking oil
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lb. chicken, cut up
Directions

1Mix together all ingredients except chicken.

2In an 11 3/4 x 7 1/2 x 1 3/4-inch dish, add chicken and coat with sauce.

3Marinate 30 minutes or overnight in refrigerator.

4Drain off most of the sauce.

5Cover with wax paper.

6Microwave on High for 22 minutes, or until tender.

7Turn the chicken over and brush with drippings halfway through cooking.

8Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

9If using chicken breasts, reduce time.
