  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. fine fresh bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. catsup
  • 2 tsp. instant minced onion
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce or 1 tsp. mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. iodized salt
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed dried basil

Directions

    Combine all ingredients; form into loaf and put in microwave-proof baking dish.

    Cook on High 8 to 10 minutes, or 140° on microwave thermometer or probe.

    Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
