- 1 cup brown sugar
- 14 cup light corn syrup
- 12 cup butter
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 12 quarts popped popcorn
Directions

1Place 3 1/2 quarts of popped popcorn in a double paper bag.

2Microwave sugar, corn syrup, and butter for 2 minutes on high (may vary with your microwave--keep in mind this is an older recipe).

3Add baking soda and vanilla to mixture and stir.

4Dump mixture into popcorn and shake vigorously.

5Microwave 1 1/2 minutes on high.

6Shake vigorously and microwave 1 1/2 more minutes.

7Shake vigorously and dump onto 2 cookie sheets.

8Cool and enjoy.
