- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/4 c. corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 3 to 5 qt. popped corn
Directions

1Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil in a 2-quart glass measurer.

2Boil 2 minutes on High in microwave.

3Remove from oven and stir in soda.

4Put popcorn in large brown bag (or Reynolds oven bag).

5Pour syrup mixture over popcorn.

6Fold over top of bag and place in microwave.

7Microwave on High for a total of 4 minutes. Remove bag every minute and shake.

8Spread caramel corn on waxed paper to cool.

9Store in tightly covered container.
