  • 8 oz. lasagna noodles
  • 6 c. Italian meat sauce or 1 (20 oz.) jar prepared sauce
  • 1 c. water or dry red wine
  • 1 lb. Ricotta cheese
  • 10 oz. Mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

    Cover bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with sauce.

    Place a layer of noodles over the sauce.

    Add half of the cheeses and cover with sauce.

    Form another layer of noodles and cover with sauce. Add remaining cheese, except 1 cup of Mozzarella.

    Cover with sauce.

    Add remaining noodles and cover that layer with sauce.
