  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk

    Add milk and egg (one at a time).

    Turn out on floured board and knead.
