Mint Punch(Lemonade)

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • juice of 4 lemons
  • 24 sprigs mint, chopped
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 12 stalks mint (leaves and stems)
  • 8 lemon rinds (rinds from lemons used)
  • 1 qt. water
  • 2 qt. ginger ale
  • 1 qt. crushed ice

Directions

    Mix first 4 ingredients and let stand for 2 hours.

    Boil sugar, lemon rinds, mint and water for 5 minutes. Cool.

    Strain the mixtures into a punch bowl. Add the ginger ale and ice.

    Mix and serve.

    Makes 1 gallon.
