  • 3 c. vinegar
  • 1 bottle red food coloring
  • 5 lb. sugar
  • 1 (2 1/2 oz.) pkg. cinnamon red hots (1/3 c.)
  • 8 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 Tbsp. alum

    Soak cucumbers in lime water overnight.

    Wash 3 times and soak for 3 hours in cold water.
