  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 c. sifted flour

Directions

    Beat well after each addition.

    Let rise until double in bulk. Roll out 1/4-inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter.

    Dip into melted oleo (1 stick) and place into tube pan.
