  • 1 c. uncooked long grain rice
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1 (4 oz.) can Ortega whole green chilies, seeded
  • 12 oz. thin sliced Monterey Jack cheese

Directions

    Cook rice until tender and mix well with sour cream.

    Spread one inch layer of rice mixture in a 6 1/2 x 8 1/2-inch baking dish.

    Arrange a thin layer of peppers on top of rice and top with thin slices of cheese.

    Repeat layers.
