- 4 oz. Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise
- 1/4 c. sour cream
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 garlic clove, pressed
- 1 pkg. (9 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed, drained and patted dry
- 1/3 c. chopped carrot
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 20 French bread slices, 1/4-inch thick
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Cut cheese into 20 thin slices; cover and set aside.

3In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, salt and garlic; mix until well blended.

4Stir in spinach, carrot onion.

5Spread rounded tablespoonful spinach mixture into each bread slice.

6Place on baking sheet; top with cheese.

7Bake 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is crisp.

8Serve warm.
