  • 32 ounces yogurt, plain
  • 2 teaspoons coriander seeds
  • 2 teaspoons cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon lentils, red (masoor dal) (chana dal)
  • 1 teaspoon rice or rice powder
  • 2 teaspoons coconut grated
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1 x turmeric pinch
  • 1 each red chili peppers

Directions

    Fry coriander seeds, cumin seeds, chana dal, red chili in a little oil.

    Grind the mixture with the coconut and add to the beaten yogurt.

    Add turmeric and bring to a boil.

    Stir in rice powder, and heat on low until consistent texture is achieved.

    Heat oil and mustard seeds and add to the mixture.
