Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 3 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. salad oil
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 pkg. mostaccioli noodles
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Heat bacon, beef and onion in hot oil.

    When meat is brown, add seasonings, tomatoes and tomato paste.

    Simmer for 1/2 hour. Water may be added if sauce gets too thick.

    Remove bay leaf. Cook noodles according to package directions.

    Pour sauce over top of noodles.

    Top with Parmesan cheese and Mozzarella cheese.
