Mozzarella Macaroni

  • 1 medium head cabbage
  • 1 lb. ziti macaroni
  • 1 stick butter (margarine)
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Cut cabbage head in half and remove core.

    Cut cabbage halves into pieces and parboil until about half done.
  3. 3
    Add macaroni and cook to desired tenderness.
  4. 4
    Drain and add butter, cheeses (I use half of each kind) and salt and pepper to taste.

    Mix well and serve.
