- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped fine
- 1 small clove garlic, crushed
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. curry powder
- 1 pt. half and half
- 1 qt. chicken stock
- 1 raw apple, peeled and chopped
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- dash of pepper, freshly ground
Directions

1Melt butter in the pot in which soup will be made.

2Add onion and crushed garlic; cook over low heat until the onion is soft. Remove garlic; add flour and curry powder.

3Cook 2 minutes.

4Add milk and chicken stock which have been cooked over hot water until smooth.

5Add apple, peeled and chopped, 10 minutes before serving. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper (just a dash).

6Serves 6.
