- 3 to 4 lb. mushrooms, sliced and slightly cooked
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. stuffing mix (Pepperidge Farm) or 2 boxes Stove Top stuffing
- 1 lb. Velveeta cheese, shredded or sliced thin
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. half and half cream
Directions

1Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

2Wash, slice and cook mushrooms slightly (5 minutes).

3Drain.

4Melt butter in water.

5Combine with stuffing mix.

6Layer mushrooms, cheese and then stuffing in a 13 x 9-inch buttered casserole dish.

7Repeat, ending with stuffing. Dot with butter.

8Just before cooking, pour over half and half.
