- 1 lb. mushrooms, sliced
- 5 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 3/4 c. milk
- 3/4 c. sour cream
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 c. bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese or Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Melt 2 tablespoons of butter.

2Add mushrooms.

3Cook over low heat, covered, until wilted.

4In saucepan, blend 3 tablespoons of butter with flour and add milk, sour cream, salt, pepper and nutmeg and stir until thickened.

5Pour mushrooms into casserole.

6Pour on sauce.

7Sprinkle with bread crumbs and cheese.

8Bake at 350° until hot; serve.
