- 2 (13 1/2 oz.) cans chicken broth
- 1 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms (1/2 sliced and 1/2 whole)
- 3 (4.5 oz.) pkg. Boursin or Rodelle garlic and herbed cheese
- handful dried mushrooms (optional)
Directions

1Soak dried mushrooms in 1 can of chicken broth for a few hours if you decide to use them.

2Later simmer this combination with half of the fresh whole mushrooms for 10 minutes.

3Pour into blender or food processor and puree with the cheese.

4Set aside.

5Slice remaining mushrooms and simmer 10 minutes in the saucepan.

6Pour blender mixture in.

7Stir and heat gently and serve.
