- 1 round steak (1/2 to 3/4-inch thick)
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1 small can mushrooms
Directions

1Trim fat from steak.

2Cut in serving pieces and place in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Sprinkle soup mix over steak.

4Pour mushrooms and liquid over soup mix.

5Cover and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes at 350°.

6If you prefer, you may cut steak in half and place in crock-pot.

7Add soup mix and mushrooms and cook on high for 4 hours.

8This will make enough broth to thicken for gravy if you wish.
