- 1 lb. mushrooms, cleaned and chopped
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- dash of white pepper
- 1/3 c. dry red wine
Directions

1Brown mushrooms in a saucepan in vegetable oil with salt, thyme, pepper and bay leaf.

2Add the wine.

3Cover and cook over low heat about 5 minutes.

4Remove bay leaf before cooking.
