- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 1/3 c. water
- bacon
- 1/2 lb. spicy pork
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
Directions

1Clean mushrooms and remove stems from caps.

2Brush caps with some oil and place in a baking dish (13 x 9-inch).

3In skillet cook bacon (or sausage) until no longer pink; remove from heat. Drain off all but 2 tablespoons of drippings.

4Add bread crumbs and chopped stems.

5Spoon crumb mixture into oiled mushroom caps. Pour water in bottom of baking dish.

6Bake 20 minutes.

7Serves 6.
