- 6 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/2 lb. butter (not margarine)
- 2 c. milk (canned milk is better)
- 3 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Mix butter, sugar, milk and Karo.

2Bring to boil, stirring constantly until it forms a hard ball in cold water or use candy thermometer.

3Then beat as long as possible, adding vanilla and nuts before pouring onto a greased cookie sheet or pan.

4Cool and cut.

5Immediately hide it or you may only have a pound or less left.
