- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 5 Tbsp. water
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Mix flour, salt and shortening.

2Add water and eggs, making a soft dough.

3Divide into 2 parts.

4Roll out into thin sheets and let dry for 15 minutes.

5Cut into small strips and drop in broth. Simmer or cook until done.

6Use more salt, if you like.
