  • 2 Tbsp. cold water
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Blend cornstarch

    and cold water; add boiling water and stir until thick

    and clear.

    Beat egg whites until foamy, add sugar, then beat

    until stiff, but not dry.

    Add salt, vanilla and cornstarch mixture and beat well. Spread on pie and bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until brown.
