- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. cold water
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 egg whites
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Blend cornstarch and cold water in saucepan.

2Add boiling water and cook, stirring until clear and thick.

3Set aside and let it get cold.

4Beat egg whites at high speed until foamy.

5Gradually add sugar and beat until stiff but not dry.

6Turn mixer to low speed; add vanilla; gradually add cold starch mixture.

7Turn mixer to high speed again, beating well.

8Spread on pie.

9Bake at 350° about 10 minutes.
