- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 lb. raw peanuts
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Combine sugar, corn syrup and water in a Dutch oven; cook over low heat until mixture spins a thread (230° to 234°).

2Add peanuts; cook to soft crack stage (about 290°), stirring constantly.

3Remove from heat.

4Add butter, soda and salt; mix well.

5Spread mixture thinly onto 2 warm, buttered 15 x 10 x 1-inch jellyroll pans.

6Cool and break into pieces.
