- 4 c. flour
- 1 3/4 c. lard
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 beaten egg
Directions

1Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

2Cut in lard with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal. In a separate bowl, mix together the water, vinegar and egg.

3Add to flour mixture.

4This will be enough for two double crust pies or four singles.

5Will keep tightly covered in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.

6This crust will not soak through.
