- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. flour
- 1/3 c. cooking oil
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. warm water (but not hot)
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water and let stand 5 to 10 minutes. Before stirring, add 2 cups flour and all other ingredients.

2With mixer, blend low for 2 minutes.

3Blend in the other 2 cups flour by hand.

4Cover; let stand until doubled in bulk, 30 to 40 minutes.

5Stir batter down; place in greased muffin tins.

6Let rise again, double in size.

7Bake at 425° for 10 minutes.
