- 3-1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1-1/2 c. water
- 1-1/2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 large egg
Directions

1Put 1 c. water in large bowl.

2Add butter, salt, and sugar. Dissolve yeast in 1/2 c. water plus a pinch of sugar.

3Add to the bowl with other ingredients.

4Beat 1 egg and milk together and add to the bowl.

5Add flour to form stiff batter.

6Cover and let rise 15-20 minutes.

7Divide into muffin tins or form rolls.

8Makes 18 rolls in tins or a 9 x 13-inch pan.
