Noodle Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. flat egg noodles (or pasta of your choice)
  • 1 can Campbell's cream of celery soup
  • 1 can Campbell's Cheddar broccoli soup
  • 1 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 (5 oz.) can chunk chicken (tuna can be used instead)
  • 1 chopped onion (medium to large)
  • 1 box frozen peas
  • 1 lb. Colby cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Boil noodles according to package and drain.

    Add all ingredients except cheese, mix well. Add grated cheese reserving 3/4 cups for top before baking.

    Spread in 9 x 13-inch pan (metal or glass).

    You can either sprinkle cheese on top or mix cheese with bread crumbs and spread on top.

    Bake, covered with foil, at 350° for 1 1/4 hours.

    If you mix the bread crumbs and cheese together, take foil off after one hour and continue baking 15 minutes.
