- 4 c. flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 egg
Directions

1Sift the flour, salt and baking powder together; add the sugar, then the egg, well beaten.

2Then add the milk and lastly, the nuts, rolled in flour.

3Give it 20 minutes to rise, then bake in a moderate oven, 350°, until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
